This is typically held the first Sunday of each month. This very popular event is a way to bring the parish family together after each Mass for fellowship. Volunteers are needed to assist with beverages and clean up.

Funeral Luncheon Committee

This committee ministers to grieving families by preparing a luncheon for the family and guests after a funeral liturgy. Called into action on short notice, they rely on a list of volunteers to bake at home and also volunteers to help with serving the meal.
Parish Hospitality Directors
The Parish Hospitality Directors (PHDs) reach out to make everyone feel welcome at St. Patrick of Merna Church. This group meets monthly to plan a variety of special events that include Pizza with the Pastor for new parishioners, receptions held after special Masses, and provide hospitality for special events. PHDs also assist with hospitality for parish funeral visitations held at our church, make calls to new parishioners welcoming them to the parish, work with the parish nurses to provide information at events, and provide additional assistance to the funeral luncheon teams. We are always looking for new members to join us in this group.
