2Made1
2Made1 is an opportunity for newlywed couples (married 5 years or less) to grow deeper in both their Catholic Faith and in the Sacrament of Marriage. Our discussion, study, and social activities hope to keep up our learning and laughing way beyond the big day.

Baptismal Preparation
Baptism is the first sacrament which welcomes a child into the church community. In preparation for receiving this sacrament, we ask parents to attend a pre-Baptismal class which shares information regarding the sacrament and guidelines to follow. You must register to attend a class. Classes are held the first Monday of each month.

Nursery
Do you have a toddler (9 months/mobile to 3 years old)? Would you like to attend Mass and be able to pray, participate and HEAR the whole homily? The Nursery is open during the 4:30 p.m. Saturday Mass and the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass times. All you have to do is register your child! Irish Pumpkin Festival
This festival is held every September on our parish grounds. Our parish family and the wider community gather for a day of fun, food and fellowship. Events include children’s games, a silent basket auction and raffle, entertainment, a delicious dinner and much more. Volunteer opportunities abound for just the day or to help with planning the event.

St. Patrick Neighborhood Zone Ministry

A huge benefit of belonging to our parish is the fact that you are never alone ~ the faith community of St. Patrick Church of Merna is here for you and your family. That is the catalyst and heart of St. Patrick Neighborhood Zone Ministry. Our parish community has been divided up into neighborhood zones and each zone has its’ own liaison.  Zone Liaisons are in place to welcome new parishioners, answer questions, or listen and reach out when difficult life situations occur. Please contact Jana Schopp (662-7361, ext. 17) or Becky Skibo (662-7361, ext. 22) if you are interested in being more involved in this wonderful ministry.
